Really nothing to update you on except I’m still reading books, saw some incoming Columbia students at a send-off event, and enjoying the 10 feet of monsoonal rains every 10 minutes. It’s a good time to rest in Mumbai. . . .

Below is the annual Columbia College send-off party for accepted students in India. I had no idea this was happening at Shiro, so I came into Mumbai just at the right time to say hi to the newest additions to my alma mater:

Avanti also has a new pet cat I’ve been playing with:

A typical Mumbai monsoon

I got to drive through the newly opened (and very beautiful) Sea Link in Mumbai, which has freed up a tremendous amount of traffic by connecting the Mumbai city center to northern Bandra:

Another view of Sea Link

Going to read a book on Avanti’s balcony, if the monsoon rains don’t lead me off to a siesta-style nap.
