After 12 spirited hours in Chicago, I headed back home to NYC this morning to work two 12 hour shifts in the ER. Today the rest of the group continues onwards from Chicago to Springfield, IL to St. Louis, MO while I plan to rejoin the group wherever they are on Monday.

The following is a repost of most of the photos that our partner, Map & Move, and our fellow travelers have taken on the ground.

Sadly, I wasn’t there, so I can only imagine how much fun they had out on the town for their first stop on Route 66.- At time of posting in St. Louis, MO, it was 66.2 °F
Humidity: 25% | Wind Speed: 19km/hr | Cloud Cover: partly cloudy
