Continuing on our road trip through Eastern Crete, we drove from Plaka and passed through Elounda for its quaint village.
We then reached the coastal city of Agios Nikola after 45 minutes of driving and enjoyed a very humid but well deserved lunch here.
After another 45 minute’s drive, we reached the southern coastal city of Ierapetra, and “the bride of the Libyan sea.”
After quickly getting some more ice cream and sorbet the group decided to eschew onward driving to Sitia and instead return back to Heraklion for a very heartwarming group dinner with Jay and Henry before our early flight out to end our trip in Greece.
- At time of posting in Ierapetra, it was 23 °C - Humidity: 52% | Wind Speed: 11km/hr | Cloud Cover: my ice cream melted
