Obamababy + Singapore Lovin’

Obama went to a pretty nice school…

SDN Menteng 1 School, where Obama attended from 1967-1971

The plaque at the school's gates

A statue of baby Obama, donated by the man whose house we stayed at in Yogyakarta (we all were WTF?! when we saw his name)

Mesjid Istiqlal, located in the heart of Jakarta, is the largest and grandest mosque in all of Southeast Asia

And Singapore is a pretty nice city…

Pretty Singapore

The newly opened Marina Bay Sands Park.

The Merlion of Singapore just got served

So this is the last day Annah and I have together before we part ways. Unfortunately she got hit with either a virus or food poisoning this morning, so we need to make sure she gets better before her flight tonight. Luckily she’s headed for a pretty developed country (South Korea) for the last leg of her trip to recuperate. Hang in there.
