Took a sleeper bus direct from Hyderabad to Hospet (450 rupees for AC sleeper, regular seat), where I then boarded a public bus to Hampi (5 rupees) that morning.
It was very difficult to leave.
I forgot to elaborate how I stayed in a famous art gallery that Saraswati’s family owned…her grandfather was a renowned Indian artist (Reddy) who created many famous works and did portraits for people like Indira Gandhi.
For the record, he painted Indira Gandhi’s last portrait before she was assassinated:

I won’t ever forget my 2 nights here.
…but I have to keep moving. And here I am, alone in Hampi.
