The Pink City Of Jaipur Has Tough Acts To Follow

It’s hard to top Amritsar and Varanasi, which is what I’m struggling with while I’m residing in the Pink City of Jaipur. Today I saw the impressive Amber Fort, City Palace, Hawa Majal, and went shopping along Jalahar Bazaar, but all the wonder and bewilderment I experienced in Varanasi and Amritsar was hard to come by.

No pictures because the internet is too slow. But tonight I’ll be taking and overnight bus to Jodhpur where I believe I will have better luck at a fast internet cafe after I explore Mehrangarh Fort by the Blue City.

My Hindi-speaking friends will appreciate this:

“Is ka dam kyaa hai?” “Paka? Yeh bahot bhaot mahegaa hai!” “Is kadam kam keejiye?” “naheeng naheeng!” “hain hain, muhje kuch hindi ati ii…from assam.” “TK TK.” “naheeng, bahot mahegaa hai!” (repeat)
